Well, my husband is kicking my trash on the weight loss deal. That's okay, he is working way harder. I became frustrated this week and wanted to quit about Wednesday. I felt like my workouts were a waste of time and that dieting wasn't working for me. Yesterday I decided to run a loop to see how close I was to making 3 miles. I ran over 2.5 miles in 34 minutes. This included a 5 minute warm up, so I felt better of realizing that I am making progress. I just need to keep pushing my limits.
Chad lost 4.6 pounds this week which brings his total weight loss too 8.4 pounds. I know it seems weird that he can keep dropping double what a normal body should in a week, but he does. Honestly his body is like that. When he is strict on diet and exercise he can lose weight fairly fast. However, if he indulges too much, he puts it on fast as well. I am very proud of his hard work and dedication. He is a great role model. He only lost 2 inches this week, and he was frustrated, but I believe his body is still adjusting. Measuring is such a fickle friend. It is only over the course of months that the real difference will be seen.
I lost 1 pound this week. I had hoped for a more dominate number, but I will take what I can get. I think I get frustrated because I feel like I get up at 5:20 and I run until I fall exhausted into bed at night. Shouldn't I be burning more calories. Obviously not. My body is it's own crazy teacher. I lost 1 inch as well. I did notice that the dress I wore at church fit better, so I feel great about that!
Tune in next week! Same Greek time same Greek channel.
